Monday Inspiration: Mediators, are you following your heart?
26 February 2007There’s an old saying that goes, follow your heart and the money will follow.
Yesterday, I was listening to a talk where the speaker was giving a variation of this advice — do what you were meant to do and the money will follow.
The premise is that we were all put on this earth to do something — to add value in some way, to make a contribution to our world.
That’s why many of the highly successful mediators that I interviewed for the Mediation Biz & Marketing Success System, indicated that they were “called” to mediation. There is a sense of purpose about working in this field.
In any event, I was inspired to encourage all of you who feel “called” to this field, to never give up. Stay the course, stay true to your calling if indeed you were called.
Why? Because the world needs you. Whatever corner you have been called to serve, you are needed.
Prepare your rock solid business foundation – create your vision, mission and goals. Then, daily, weekly — frequently take the steps you need to bring your dream, your vision, your goals into reality.
